Information for potential sponsors
As you have probably noticed, Paradise Misplaced uses a slightly different advertising scheme than your average web page. If you decide to further our cause, your company will in turn receive a custom-made advertisement in the form of a comic panel featuring the characters of Paradise misplaced, where your product will be cast, for instance, as the original sin, tempting Adam and Eve out of Eden.

The advantage of this sort of marketing for you is that your ad will be fully integrated into the page’s material and will be read as part of the entertainment, on par with the main weekly comic. Additionally, the sponsors are free to use the custom ad in other campaigns unrelated to our project as long as they visibly acknowledge the web address of our comic, www.paradisemisplaced.si, as the original site of its publication.

Your company’s ad will feature in the active advertising block on the page for the chosen period of time, but will also be available after its expiry in the archive section of the page. Another bonus is that all of the ads featured on the page will also be included in the book planned at the end of the comic’s first two-year run. Original drawings of selected ads will also be shown at exhibitions related to the project. Every company, whose ad is featured in the book, will also receive five copies of the book with the possibility of acquiring more at a discounted price as a slightly different gift option for your business partners.

The costs associated with sponsoring Paradise Misplaced are relatively low at 150 euros for one month of advertising. Due to the logistics associated with producing the custom ad, three months (at 450 euros) are a minimum and a full year of advertising is discounted to 1200 euros. At each entry to the site, a randomly chosen ad is displayed in full, while the others are viewed by clicking on the icons of the sponsoring companies listed below the main image.
